Ron Bichel has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus since 1979 and is recognized as an Honorary Member in Good Standing with the Council.

Ron served as Grand Knight of Council 8471 during the years 2014 to 2016 for which the Council was recognized with the several Council Awards. He has held other positions in Council 8471, including Deputy Grand Knight, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Director, and Trustee.

Ron Bichel received the honours of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus in 2000, and in 2004 served and continues to server as the Faithful Comptroller of the Father Doucet Assembly # 0006.

Ron attended the Supreme Convention in 2016 in Toronto, Ontario as an insured delegate.

He served from 2017 and continues to serve as the Treasurer on the Board of the Alberta Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation.

Ron served from 2012 and continues to serve as Chairman of the Holy Spirit Parish Finance Council.

Ron Bichel is a Chartered Professional Accountant in good standing and has been a professional accountant since 1986 and has been working as a Public Practitioner since 1990.
