Miles is a Past Grand Knight and current Chancellor for Holy Family #4957 Council. He also serves as Chair for his Parish Council and proclaimer. Professionally, he is a Registered Nurse with over 27 years of experience in hospital, clinic, case management and community settings. For many years, he was also a volunteer with the Red Cross Disaster Response Team, and supported evacuees of floods, fires and hurricanes.  He is presently working fulltime as a specialized AHS consultant for clients needing to transition into designated care facilities.

Miles sees good, holistic, and inclusive urban design as a critical health determinant, and applies his experience to engage Greater Hardisty Community of Edmonton to preserve and enhance his community.  He is a Director with his Community League,  Green Building Chair, Senior’s Liaison, and director with the Bosco Foundation as well. He is happy to serve the Gospel in joining the Alberta Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation Board of Directors.
